John Henry
President / Chief Executive Officer
John has held several senior positions within the security industry including that of Western Regional Manager with a major national security firm prior to founding Concord Security in 1983. His combination of security experience and business knowledge has helped build Concord Security into the full service company that it is today.
Rob Davis
Chief Operating Officer
Rob joined Concord Security as COO in mid-2011, following a long term business relationship with company owner, John Henry. Rob’s business background is thirty years of management in the commercial real estate industry, and most recently, twenty-two years in senior management positions with Morguard Investments Ltd. Rob has been involved in the executive of the B.C. Shopping Centre Association (BCSCA member since 1984), and the International Council of Shopping Centres (ICSC member since 1981), and was certified with the Property Management designation from the Real Estate Council of B.C. Rob’s knowledge and experience in management will strengthen Concord’s commitment to service and growth, while fulfilling the Concord mandate, “we do more”.
Clare Edmundson
Vice President
Clare has over ten years experience in the property management industry and has been with Concord Security since 1985. Mrs. Edmundson has served as president of the BC Shopping Centre Managers Association. Her background enables Concord Security to offer a unique understanding of the special needs and challenges that arise in the operation of retail and multi-use Centres.
Mark Forward
Director of Finance & General Manager
Mark has been in the security industry with Concord Security since 1992. He has been the Site Supervisor at Harbour Centre and the Bentall Centre. Mark has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Simon Fraser University and is a Certified General Accountant. Mark is in charge of all Concord’s business operations and in 2009 was named to Business in Vancouver’s Top 40 Under 40 list of top local business people.
Sean Kelly
Director, Major Accounts
Sean has an extensive background as an operations and personnel manager, and has been directly involved in the hiring, supervision, training, and assigning of personnel. He has an extensive security and management background and has been employed in the security industry since 1986. Sean's role as Director of Major Accounts is to ensure the needs of our key clients are met and to bring new and innovative ideas to the properties he manages. Sean served for several years on the board of the BC Shopping Centre Association.
Frank Naso, CPP
Director, Major Accounts
A Certified Protection Professional, Frank has over 20 years of experience in the security industry, law enforcement, and corrections, as well as a degree in Criminology and post-baccalaureate studies in Administrative Management. His work with private post secondary institutions has enabled Concord to establish the Concord Career Centre, a registered private post-secondary institution. His experience and knowledge serve his clients well in his role as Director of Major Accounts where he is able to offer valuable advice and support to numerous key clients.
Sandor Maradi
Emergency Services & Risk Management / Account Manager
Sandor has been in the security industry since 1985 and with Concord Security for 19 years combined. The diverse experiences gained in retail, commercial & industrial environments, emergency & disaster planning, and an extensive background in event security have proven to serve our clients well. Sandor co-chairs Concord Security's Occupational Health and Safety Commitee and is very familiar with WorksafeBC related matters in addition to being an accredited expert in Emergency Planning. Sandor also had a key role in managing security at a high profile event site during the 2010 Olympics.
James Blight
Operations Manager
James has been in the security industry since 1992 and with Concord Security since 1997 holding supervisory positions at the Metrotown Properties for ten years before being promoted into a management role. He has managed security for special events and personal protection. As Operations Manager, James is responsible for ensuring comprehensive training and quality assurance of staff and services in addition to a number of projects and responsibilities critical to Concord's operation including Information Technology. In 2010, James served as Vice President of the BC Shopping Centre Association and in 2011 he remains on the board in an Event Planning role.
Phil Wadden
Manager, Field Operations
Phil comes to us from a ‘Fortune 500’ company that has been an innovator and leader in customer service for almost 50 years. His tenacious nature and commitment to detail make him a welcome asset to the Concord team. Phil has expertise in communications, computer systems, electronic and mechanical equipment, as well as data analysis. Phil is responsible for providing technical support to our clients for all security equipment, providing statistical analyses on information collected through Smartguard 2.3TM, and assisting with the development of Building Standing Orders.
David Desormeaux
Manager, Human Resources
David brings a wealth of human resources experience from a variety of industries over the past decade including hospitality, property management, gaming and high tech. David holds a Graduate Certificate in Strategic Human Resources Management from Royal Roads University and an Executive Leadership Certificate from Cornell University. David leverages his human resources management expertise and his team’s collective strengths to provide tactical and consultative support to supervisors and management while maximizing the employee’s positive working experience with Concord Security.
Ken Cackler
Assistant Manager, Human Resources
Ken has been employed with Concord Security since 2000. His experience working in the field at highprofile sites such as Pacific Centre, Metrotown and Richmond Centre, and knowledge of their needs, allowed an easy transition into a Recruitment role within the office. Now in the Assistant HR Manager role, he lends support to our Supervisors for their day-to-day and staffing issues. Along with overseeing the Serve and Secure program for our client, Cadillac Fairview, Ken is also the chair of Concord’s OH&S committee.
Ed Ko
Manager, Finance
Ed joined Concord in 2008, bringing skills he refined at a top international credit company. He has been working in the finance and accounting industries since 1990.
Tim Graham
Regional Manager, Alberta
Tim has been in the security operations and customer service industry since 2000 and has been with Concord Security since 2002 where he has held both shift and site supervisor positions at two of Vancouver’s high-profile complexes, Pacific Centre and Waterfront Centre. Since 2006 Tim has been in charge of branch operations for Alberta. Since Tim took on this role, Alberta operations have grown from 5 employees at one property to approximately 200 employees at properties located throughout the Calgary area and as far north at Red Deer.
Tracy Charlebois
Field Operations Manager, Alberta
Tracy has been involved with the supervision and management of security services since 2006 with a previous ten years experience in retail management. Before joining Concord, Tracy worked with a major real estate firm as a Security Supervisor. Tracy’s attention to detail makes her an integral part of our quality control program in Alberta.
